Meet
Martha Pellerin
Musician and community
organizer in the Franco-
American
community
Martha Pellerin grew up in Barre
in a house
full of music. When she saw
her cultural traditions slowly disappearing
into mainstream American culture—
even within the Franco-American
community—she
became an active proponent of collecting and performing
the music of
her childhood and connecting newer generations of Franco-Americans
to
their cultural heritage.
