Vermont History Day 2012

On Saturday, March 31, 220 Vermont students in grades six through twelve, along with their teachers and parents, gathered at Spaulding High School in Barre for the Vermont History Day contest. The theme of the 2012 statewide competition was "Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History." Through research and the development of essays, exhibits, performances, documentaries and web sites, students became experts in their topics. The Vermont Historical Society would like to congratulate each student who took part in this exciting event. Many thanks to the judges and others who volunteered their time to help out with this worthwhile endeavor.
