Career and volunteer opportunities

Volunteer with us!

Your time can help us preserve Vermont’s rich history—connecting children and adults throughout the state with their heritage. We need you to volunteer in the library, museum, administrative offices and at events such as Vermont History Expo. Volunteer duties can range from giving you fascinating views into diaries or books from long ago to opportunities helping children learn about Vermont history to seeing Vermont's heritage in action at our special events and programs.

As a volunteer, you can have a flexible schedule, get a discount in our store, go to special volunteer-only events and get into other museums free.

For more information on volunteering, please contact Diane Campbell at (802) 479-8503 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Thank you!
